Leadership Columbia 2017 Class

Columbia Chamber of Commerce Announces Leadership Columbia 2017 Class

The Columbia Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the selection of the Leadership Columbia Class of 2017. Leadership Columbia is presented by Stephens College. It is a highly sought after, 12-session annual program of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, which runs from January to June. The program focuses on leadership skill development and preparation for local leadership.

The 31 participants in Leadership Columbia 2017 join over 900 Chamber members who have completed the program since it began in 1986. Co-chairs of this year’s Leadership Columbia class are previous graduates Chuck Bowman with Monarch Title Company, Inc. and Shatenita Horton with Providence Bank.

“The Leadership Columbia program offers experiences that no other program in Columbia does. Our Chamber does an excellent job of providing hands on experiences to attendees that are top notch,” said Horton.

“The ability to meet community leaders with common goals and the opportunity to learn and share information made me an improved leader within my own organization and the community,” Bowman said.
